Premium Digital Editions — License & Refund Policy

This policy covers the premium digital editions of our workbooks — the fillable PDF files sold on this site through Stripe checkout and delivered by download. It is part of our Terms of Use. We’ve kept it in plain English; it is still binding.
What you’re buying
A premium digital edition is a fillable PDF workbook file, in the edition you choose, delivered by download from our thank-you page immediately after checkout. Checkout is hosted by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Refunds
All sales of premium digital editions are final. Because your files are delivered immediately after purchase, we do not offer refunds once your download has been delivered.
Final doesn’t mean unsupported. If something is wrong with your file — the download failed, the file won’t open, or you received a different edition than the one you chose — reach out through our contact page and we will see that you end up with a working copy of what you bought.
Pay-what-you-want support contributions are also final once made.
Your license
Your purchase gives you — the purchaser, identified by the email address you used at checkout — a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to the file. Here is what that means in ordinary terms.
You may:
- keep the file on your own devices, and back it up;
- fill it in, as many times and in as many sittings as you like;
- print pages, or the whole workbook, for your own use;
- share your filled-in pages — printed or exported — with anyone you choose: family, your attorney, your executor, anyone. What you write is yours.
You may not:
- send, share, or post the file itself — the blank workbook — to or for anyone else;
- resell it, sublicense it, or include it in any paid or free product, service, or collection;
- remove or alter the license imprint described below.
If you’re a professional who would like to use our workbooks with clients, or an organization that wants copies for the people you serve, reach out through our contact page — that’s a different license, and we’re glad to talk about it.
About the imprint on your copy
Every page of your file carries a small imprint: Licensed to [your email] · Order [reference] · personal use only.
The imprint identifies your licensed copy — it is how the file itself records that it belongs to you. It is ink on the page, nothing more: the file doesn’t connect to the internet, and nothing in it reports back to us. The imprint will appear on pages you print, the way a bookplate appears in a book you own.

The fine print
